Motivation

Good Health - Internally, Externally and Eternally

If you gotten to this page, you're already motivated. Look at it
this way: The past is over. The future has not started. What you've got is right
now!
Joseph Campbell said, "Do not delay Joy!" If you want
to make a positive change in your physique and your life - why wait?
"If you do your best, you can't regret it. If you don't,
you will." - Buddha's dying words
Confucius said, "A hundred mile journey is started with the
first step." Whether you know it or not, you've already taken the first
step. And believe me, it's not work, it's fun! I couldn't have done it all these
years if it wasn't fun. I have more enthusiasm NOW than I did at my very first
workout. Because I know it works. All it takes is patience.
EFFORT + PATIENCE = RESULTS
I used to tell members in both my health clubs to leave your
brain in the locker room, I'll do all the thinking. You'll do all the physical
effort. I would take each and every member through
their first several workouts and update their charts on a regular basis. And I
also wrote out diets for each and every member. That came automatically with the
membership! Thousands of people! Today, personal trainers are getting $40-$250 PER
HOUR (US and World Report, Oct. 23, 2000.)
It's a simple formula and it does work. A brand new you will
emerge. A person who has never worked out or has never eaten a Supercharged DietŠ
has no idea what it is to feel good. That person is like a 1948 Dodge running on
half its cylinders. He just doesn't know it because he has no idea what it is to
feel good!
With the right diet and exercise
program, you'll be running
around with a physique like a finely tuned 12 cylinder Ferrari. Hop in and
let's go!
I've put this list of quotations on the walls of all my
health clubs
"There is not the slightest indication that nuclear energy
will ever be obtainable. It would mean that the atom would have to be shattered
at will." - Dr. Albert Einstein, 1932
"This is the biggest fool thing we have ever done. The bomb
will never go off and I speak as an expert in explosives." - Adm. William
Leaky advising President Truman on the U.S. bomb project, 1945
"You'd better learn secretarial work or else get
married." - Emmeline Snively, director of the Blue Book Modeling Agency to
would-be model Norma Jean Baker (Marilyn Monroe), 1944
"I have no political ambitions for myself or my
children." - Joseph P. Kennedy, 1936
"The thought of being President frightens me. I do not
think I want the job." - Ronald Reagan, Governor of California, 1973
"While theoretically and technically television may be
feasible; commercially and financially I consider it an impossibility, a
development of which we need waste little time dreaming." - Lee DeForest,
American inventor who pioneered in the field of radio and TV and invented the
audion tube, 1926
"Gone with the Wind is going to be the biggest flop
in Hollywood. I'm just glad it'll be Clark Gable who is falling flat on his face
and not Gary Cooper." - Gary Cooper, 1938
"I do not consider Hitler to be as bad as he is depicted.
He is showing an ability that is amazing and he seems to be gaining his
victories without much bloodshed." - Mohandas Gandhi, May 1940
"You ain't goin' nowhere son. You ought to go back to
drivin' a truck." - Jim Renny, manager of the Grand Ole Opry, firing Elvis
Presley after one performance, September 25, 1954
